Using pythagoras' thm,

9*9 + c*c = a*a
24*24 + c*c = b*b

a*a + b*b = 33*33

=> 9*9 + c*c + 24*24 + c*c = 33*33
=> 2*c*c = 33*33 - 24*24 - 9*9

= 1089 - 576 - 81
= 432

=> c*c = 216
=> c = sqrt(216)
