HELP. Please comment if your willing to help and walk me through point-slope form and slope-intercept. PLEASE comment...
I'll try to help. :o)
It says "Write an equation in point-slope form of the line through the given points. Then write the equation in slope-intercept form." #11. (4,0), (-2,1) #12. (-3,-2), (5,3) #13. (-5,1), (3,4)
I need to show my work and I need the answers.
https://www.khanacademy.org/math/trigonometry/graphs/slope_of_line/v/slope-of-a-line this website is so good
Point slope form: y – y1 = m(x – x1) Do you know what the slope is?
I got the slope to be -0.5 . Is that right?
@alahrichi1 I watched the video, but Im still confused.
Heeeeeeeelp. ):
Are all the points on the same line, or are they all different problems? Which points gave you the slope of -0.5?
#11 #12 and #13 are all different problems, but I don't have any graph for it or anything but the problem and the instructions.
Hm, I'm not 100% sure how to figure it out. Here's a website that could help you. Read through it and see if you can figure it out. Remember, slope is rise over run. If the line goes down, its negative, if it goes up, its positive. http://www.purplemath.com/modules/strtlneq2.htm http://www.purplemath.com/modules/strtlneq.htm

Do you have a textbook with any examples? It'd be 100% easier if they told you the slope.
