There's active transport and passive transport.  Active transport utilizes energy where as passive transport requires no energy.  There are two kinds of passive transport: osmosis and diffusion.  Diffusion is the transport of pretty much any kind of molecule where as osmosis is just the transportation of water.

Yes active transport. Just think about how in order for you to be active, you need energy. So if it requires energy than it must be active, and not passive. Thats how i learned in 9th grade.
