What would be the best conclusion from these data? The period of a pendulum is linearly related to the mass of the bob. The square of the period of a pendulum is related to the bob's mass. The period of a pendulum is not related to the mass of the bob. The period of a pendulum is related to the length of the string.

@Shane_B can u help pleasee? :)

OpenStudy (shane_b):

Look at the graph and note that no matter what the mass is, the period is about the same. So what do you think ? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first one? @Shane_B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Shane_B thanks so much for your help on the other problem :) can u help with this please?

OpenStudy (shane_b):

I thought I helped with this one already? The graph shows that the period of the pendulum doesn't really change even if you change the mass (note that the graph is basically a line). The only answer that fits that is: "The period of a pendulum is not related to the mass of the bob." This is a fact in physics...mass doesn't affect the period of a pendulum.

I have to go for the night, good luck :)

@Shane_B thanks so much :)
