OpenStudy (anonymous):

a.) If a burger joint has 3 different bun styles, 11 different toppings and 4 different sauces, and the order of the toppings does not matter, how many possible burgers can be made? b.) If we consider the fact that different order of toppings is a different burger, how many different burgers can be made? I am completely new to probability and completely confused. However, I think that the first one needs a combination for the toppings, since order doesn't matter. ??

OpenStudy (bluebird):

for the first one are you allowed to repeat, as in have the same topping twice?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. However, I already figured it out. Thanks anyway
