how fast is a bicylist traveling in miles per hr if his tires are 27 inchs in diameter & his angular speed is 5pi rad per sec?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

speed = radius*angularspeed radius = 27/2 = 13.5 inches. convert this into miles. angular speed = 5pi rad per sec = 5pi/3600 rad per hour. now multiply these values of radius and angular speed to get the speed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

miles: 0.00022 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know. just google for inches to miles converter and proceed
