Which lines must be parallel if 15 is congruent to 7? A. x and z B. c and d C. x z and c d D. no lines are parallel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

c and d.....as 15 and 7 are the equal alternate angles.....so c and d will be parallel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which of the following is a point on the line shown? A. AB B. B C. AC D. D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B, duh :P AB n AC are line segments, D doesnt exist.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which lines must be parallel if 2 is congruent to 5? A. x and z B. c and d C. x z and c d D. no lines are parallel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2 will be always congruent to 5, they are verticall opposite angles, so no lines are parallel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How many planes are in the following figure A. 3 B. 4 C. 5 D. 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how many does it look like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

exactly :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the length of segment AD on the number line below? A. -5 B. -3 C. 3 D. 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how long does it look like?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to tell you the truth i really dont know how this one works

OpenStudy (anonymous):

length can never be negative, right?? here, A to B is 1, B to C is 1, and C to D is 1, and that adds up to????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see? it's not even close to 'tough'

Identify A and B as either vertical, complementary, or supplementary angles. A. Vertical B. Complementary C. Supplementary

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u know what vertical angle, complementary angle and supplementary angle mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i dont think it is A so it is either B or C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vertical angles are those opposite angles that form when two lines intersect.....when two angles sum up to 90 they are called complementary angles, and when they sum up to 180 they are called supplementary angles.....what do u think about this one?? how much do they sum up to?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@tanvirms Complementary angles are two angles with a sum of 90º. Supplementary angles are two angles with a sum of 180º. Vertical angles are two angles whose sides form two pairs of opposite rays. We can think of these as opposite angles formed by an X.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it is C but i am not sure

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

A + B = 90

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

angles A and B that is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@SoulSand yeah thats what i said :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A+B=90 so they are complementary

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In the above figure, find m<AED-m<BEC. A. 112 B. 75 C. 10 D. 93

OpenStudy (anonymous):

28+47+65-47

OpenStudy (anonymous):

93

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If <A and <B are vertical angles, and <A = 38°, find the measure of <B. A. <B = 7° B. <B = 57° C. <B = 38° D. <B = 142°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vertical angles are always equal :)
