I need help solving a - 2b = 2 a + b = 2(b + 3) using linear combination

in the second equation, open up the brackets... the coefficient of 'a' is the same, i.e. 1. u subtract equation two from one, due to which 'a' will be eliminated (since a - a is zero) then u get the value 'b'....so then u substiture the value of 'b' to get the value of 'a'...
