Old English tale.

Beowulf is your typical epic hero, bulging muscles, blah blah.

A court in Denmark is being terrorized by Grendel

Grendel is a monster/descendant of the Biblical Cain, Beowulf has to slay Grendel.

Beowulf sails to Denmark (Called Zealand) with 14 other warrior.

Beowulf gets to the court, Grendel attacks, Beowulf slashes off his arm or something and he basically runs back to his cave to bleed to death.

Beowulf is treated like a awesome hero, but the following night Grendel's Mother comes and I believe slaughters various villages as revenge.

Beowulf goes to the cave/bog and finds a large enchanted sword.

Beowulf and Grendel's Mother battle to the death next to Grendel's corpse (symbolic).
