Quick question: My grade was 70% C- , and that's for the whole semester of lecture. Now, if I received 64% in lab, which was supposed to be extra credit. If the lab was "never documented" in the syllabus, then I can't be graded in lab right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that ur really pic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahahahaha that's exactly what I was gonna say

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

Yes @ tay :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooooooooo

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Is this for a college course or just some silly high school class? Because I'm not sure how it would work in high school, but in a college course, yes you could probably complain to the department head or something if the teacher tried to count it towards your grade.

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

Yes, I agree and it's at a University. I'm going to tell the dean about this because it doesn't state it in the syllabus.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get it

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

from my experience, they can do it. happened to me. does it state anything about random classwork/tutorials etc can count towards your mark? I would definitely go fight for the marks.

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

or rather, the lack thereof.

OpenStudy (slaaibak):

that escalated quickly lol

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

He said that there would be up to 50 points of extra credit. Although, the syllabus does not state lab anywhere on the syllabus. These professors are something else. I guess they just wanna make $$. So I'm going to tell the dean that it was no where on the syllabus. I'll take my C-, but that lab is going to bring be down to a D+, so I'm gonna argue that I earned a C-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats good

OpenStudy (technodynamic):

im forced to change my major now b/c i can't have a low grad in this major. :[ sux
