Solving systems by graphing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The problem is that I have to do solving systems, and the method I chose was graphing. The equation is: 3x – 9y = 3 6x – 3y = -24 What is the slope and y-intercept of the equations? And also could you graph them on my graph.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First you have to equal both equations in order to solve your system, that would give you the points where both graphs cut.

also i recommend if you have doubts, use a value table, like this |dw:1358202408143:dw|
