if "a" and "b" are positive numbers , then the range of y= asin[b(x-c)] +d is:

hartnn (hartnn):

range of sine function is from +1 to -1 so, range of asin[b(x-c)] will just be multiplied by 'a' then range of asin[b(x-c)] +d will be found by just adding 'd' to it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

could you please write out the actual range how would it look like

hartnn (hartnn):

the least value will be -a+d and max value will be a+d so range is from -a+d to a+d {-a+d,a+d}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay well if i have these 4 options which would be correct :

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first option : ( y: -a -d <= y <= a + d) second option : ( y: -a +d " " same as above)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

third option: (-d <= y <= d ) fourth option : ( -a <= y <= a)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

out of these 4 options which is correct?

hartnn (hartnn):

second option : ( y: -a +d " " same as above)
