To people studying physics with H.C.Verma's Concepts of Physics...Do you think it is enough for IIT-JEE?Even after studying its theory part well I am unable to solve the exercise questions. It does not explain all the concepts well I think.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

i think H.C.Verma+ NCERT physics text is all that is required for you to crack JEE

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AravindG that is if u are an absolute genius and will easily be able to apply the theory to problems... @Krishnadas try solving past IIT problems...

OpenStudy (aravindg):

well I know people who have cracked IIT with good ranks (who were not absolute genius) ,using HC Verma and NCERT for physics..Solving past year problems is also good but that will come under the mock tests that you do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AravindG then very well..u may be right...but the only reason fr me telling it is not enough is cuz 2 of my cousins read only that and they got around 9000 rank...so...

OpenStudy (aravindg):

lols actually the books you have ,the coaching centre you go only have a less part to play when it comes to rank.what really matters is amount of effort you put up .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@AravindG yeah..that is absolutely right! :D

OpenStudy (rishabh.mission):

@aravindg what do you do ? are u teacher ?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

@rishabh.mission Not sure >.> To some I'm their student. To others I'm their teacher. To most I'm their friend To the rest I'm a mentor

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i recomend doing arihant new pattern iit jee physics by dc pandey..

OpenStudy (rishabh.mission):
