What is the value of the x variable in the solution to the following system of equations? 4x + 2y = 6 x – y = 3

OpenStudy (radar):

Divide the first equation by 2 Add the results to the second equation.

4x+2y= 6 ---->(A) x-y = 3 ------>(B) from (B) we have y=x-3 put this in (A) you will get x
