What are the x- and y-intercepts of the line? 2x – 3y = –12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(x\) intercept, replace \(y\) by \(0\) and solve \(2x=-12\) get \(x=-6\) so \(x\) intercept is \((-6,0)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for the \(y\) intercept replace \(x\) by \(0\) and solve for \(y\)

OpenStudy (aravindg):

yep do as satellite said :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i did :)
