Hey so I need help on my math homework..here it is its kind of tricky!!! I tried to do it on my own but its really complicated!.... 1) If x+3 is an even integer, which of the following must be an even integer? x+4 x+1 2x-1 x+6 (x+2)/2 2) If "m" mangoes sell for 5 cents each, what is the cost of "p" mangoes sold at the same rate? 5m 5p 5m/p p/(5m) (5p)/m 3) Sam can run "m" miles per minute. How far can he run in twenty (20) minutes? m/20 20/m 40m 20m 10m
I have a few more if anybody knows how to do these ones
you try to make your all homework to someone else. These are similar questions just ask one then try to understand do the rest on your own
Well sorry but I don't understand them....I was looking for someone to help me.....
1) x+1 because even numbers are divisible by 2, So if x+3 is an even integer, then x+1 must also be an even integer, except for when x is = -1, in which case you can't say 0 is even I believe, but ignoring that.
thank you for explaining! :)
I'll see if I can answer some more of those questions.
okay thanks :)
zero is considered an even number
okay thank you :)
