What was the key challenge faced by the Allies during World War II? lack of funding for the war war was fought mainly by the navy lack of public support for the war war was fought on multiple fronts
Well, the sheer competence and effectiveness of the German military is probably the best answer, but given your choices I guess you'll have to go with the fact that the war was fought on multiple fronts. It wasn't initially, of course. It was just fought in France, until the French collapsed, and then in Yugoslavia and Africa, to some extent, and in the air above Britain. It only really became a true multiple-front war in 1941 (when the Japanese attacked the Americans), in 1942 (when the Germans attacked the USSR), and 1943 (when the Allies invaded Sicily) and finally 1944 (when the Allies invaded Normandy), and in each of these cases it was the Germans who suffered most from the introduction of a new front, and the Allies who benefited. Still, coordinating military operations over a wide theater, with many participating nations, was a real lostical and C^3I challenge. The other three choices are silly, however.
