Write an original poem. Your goal is to continue connecting “Romeo and Juliet” with the song you chose for Part A of this assignment. Now you are going to be the songwriter, or poet, and create your own song or poem. Your original poem should continue to explore your thoughts on the similarities between “Romeo and Juliet” and the song you chose. If the characters of both were similar, you can create two more characters that have those similarities as well. For Part A i did ;

I chose "Can't Help Falling in love by Elvis Presley"
Can't Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley relates to the play Romeo and Juliet because it is saying how he found love at first sight and he cannot resist the girl he is writing the song to and in the play it is also love at first sight already kissing. So when you see in the first part it is almost like a modern version of what Romeo was saying to Juliet. In the song it says "Wise men say only fools rush in, But I can't help falling in love with you." and in the play Romeo first says to Juliet "If I profane with my unworthiest hand This holy shrine, the gentle sin is this:" it looks like Romeo could have also said what is in the song. The part where they first meet is in Act 1, Scene 5 where Romeo is supposed to be "crashing" the party.


Now i nned help doing a poem , im not good at writing poems.

well as far as the poem goes i recommend doing an italian sonnet, because its the easiest type of poem to do and would work with your 10+ lines
