I am confused on how to do these. I dont know what to do with the h's: [f(x+h)-f(x)]/h. f(X)=x^3 +4

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

Are you working with limits by any chance?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no i am not

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

Hm, well h refers to the change in x in respect to the function, which I believe would be the + 4. See what happens if you substitute 4 in for h.
