OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find any points of discontinuity for the rational function. y = (x+6)(x+2)(x+8)/ (x+9) (x+7) x = 6, x = 2, x = 8 x = 9 x = 7 x = –9, x = –7 x = –6, x = –2, x (x+7)= –8

zepdrix (zepdrix):

Hmm it looks like your y= didn't paste correctly :O Unless I'm mistaken...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeah i fixed it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it isn't rational when the divisor is 0, so whenever the denominator is 0, which is when x = -9, and -7
