Domain is whenever the function exists. Functions only don't exist if you're dividing by 0. So the question you ask yourself is : "Does the function ever not exist?" If the answer is no, then the domain is all real numbers. Range is all the possible y-values the function reaches. You kinda need to know how to graph the function to figure this out. Do you know how to graph this (exponential function)?
