OpenStudy (anonymous):

step by step the 4 in the denominator of the exponent means take the fourth root the fourth root of 81 is 3 because \(3^4=81\) then the 3 in the numerator of the exponent means cube \[3^3=27\] then the minus sign in the exponent means take the reciprocal, and the reciprocal of \(27\) is \[\frac{1}{27}\]
