8. Slope increases x by 1 every unit and y decreases by 2 Mathmatically it will be \[(1-3)/(1-0)\]=-2 9. looking at the problem the y intercept is 3 because at that point x is 0. Then the slope we just found out is -2. Plug it in to the equation y=mx+b you get the first one y=-2x+3
