Does dna make rna and rna make protien?

Nope. DNA and RNA both belong under the category of Nucleic Acids. We're made up of four major "macromolecules." 1. Nucleic acids 2. Proteins 3. Carbohydrates 4. Lipids You see, proteins are a whole different type of macromolecule. They're made up of "amino acids." DNA and RNA are both made of something called "nucleotides."
