Thanks:) Can you help withj one more? Explain why it's important that the cells created through meiosis contain only one of chromosome, instead of the pairs of chromosomes created in mitosis for most cells

because they're sex cells and upon fertilization, if these had the genetic material amount of  a somatic cell, the zygote would have double the genetic material needed, and would not survive
