How would you solve this compound inequality? 3<3w or 3w>=9

OpenStudy (zeig_101):

you would compress it into one, 3<3x>9 then, divide by 3 to get X on it's own.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be 1<w>=9?

OpenStudy (zeig_101):

you forgot to divide 9 by three, but you were close. answer is: 1<w>3, so W=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would the graph look like then?

OpenStudy (zeig_101):

You can't really graph that kind of equation from what I know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It was suppose to be an OR inequality not and AND inequality

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can graph this inequality
