I think its b ,because the negative sign goes to 3x2 .Also you do 5x+9x which is 14x.

actually its c,because the negative sign applies to the parenthesis which would be 5x--3x2-9x. You then turn those two minus signs into positive signs like this 5x+3x2-9x.Finally you just do 5x-9x which is -4x.
