y = -2x + 1 y = -x -2 Start by plotting some points on a graph. For example, in the first equation, start with 1. If you put 1 into x, you'll get -1. So your first point would be (1, -1). Keep doing that until you can draw a straight line through them (usually you'll need 3 points). Do the same for the second equation. Your answer will be the POINT (x, y) where the lines cross. Do you follow?
