Need interesting Journalism ideas. I Want to write an article about people stealing in stores (With an Investigative angle on how some stores don't even notice the shoplifters.) What would the topic be and how would I go across doing this? I also need ideas for videos/photos.

well maybe how like shopkeepers only look for a steryotype of a person who would steal..um, go to stores and ask if there is something that they look for in a person that makes them seem like they would shoplift...its just an idea.... you could video tape it....

or maybe you could do it on the different types of security systems and see if one of them is more effective, or something, I know that some stores use mirrors instead of cameras..

I think the stereotype would be the thesis. And as for photos use different comparisons of the stereotype
