In an Fe2(SO4)3 solution the concentration of SO42−is 0.25 mol L−1. What is the concentration of solute?

You probably mean "what was the original concentration of solute" since it's all dissociated now. Since you got 3 sulfates per formula unit of solute dissolved (as you can see from the empirical formula), it follows that the concentration of sulfate must be 3x the original concentration of the solute.
