Simplify: 1-(1/a) / (1/a^2)-(1/a)

OpenStudy (raden):

can u factor out for the denominator, i meant what's factors of (1/a^2)-(1/a) = ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it a^2?

OpenStudy (raden):

nopes.. it should be 1/a or u can take the common be -1/a so, the denominator can be -1/a * (1 - 1/a)

OpenStudy (raden):

now, simplify it from ur original problem ... hint : cancel out for the same term in numerator and denominator good luck :)
