I have growing Aspergillus oryzae on sucrose and I want to draw it into growth curve within 6 days. But at second day to third day it was to be lowered and start exponential growth after that. Why it could be happened?

OpenStudy (nottim):

...so the growth rate decreased? is that whats happening?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, very high rate of growth led to an enormous increase in population and the figures were to be reset in readiness for exponential growth

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@NotTim yes you're right. and i think it is not a diauxic growth.

OpenStudy (nottim):

IF the growth rate is decreasing, that's probably because the carrying capacity of the area is decreasing (because the amount of food andr area is decreasing). PRobably not right, but it soudns right, in the context of the bio unit im doing right now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm really appreciate your answer, but why after decreasing it going to be exponential growth if the foods are limited? do you have a suggest what the web page that has a curve growth database?

OpenStudy (nottim):

have you tried wolframalpha.com ?
