simplify: 8x ^ 3 + 6x ^ 2 + -4x /-2x

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

8x^3 + 6x^2 +2 2x^2(4x + 3) + 2

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Is that perhaps supposed to be \[\frac{8x^3+6x^2-4x}{-2x}\] If so, what happens when you factor out 2x from the numerator?
