What is the angle sum of an isosceles triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jollysailorbold

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 180?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mhmm! :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve for x. @jollysailorbold |dw:1358407642846:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if those two sides are congruent, then these angles are congruent: |dw:1358483262899:dw| which means that 180 = x + x + 38 180 - 38 = x + x 142 = x + x 142/2= 71 and to check, 71 + 71 + 38 = 180 :)
