During a very hot, sunny day, are stomata likely to be open or closed? Explain

That depends on the kind of plant and enviorment you're talking about. For example, if you're in a place where humidity is elevated (it rains a lot) the stomatas will be open during the day because the plant wont need to save water, cause there's a lot of it in it's enviroment. But if you're in a desert, the stomatas will be closed during the day cause is really important for the plant to save water, and there will be open at night. (CAM plants)
