3x+2y-4z=-7 x-4y+5z=9 2x+2y-5z=-12 could someone show me how to solve this system of equations? thanks!

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Subtract the bottom equation from the first equation. That will eliminate the y term

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Then multiply the top equation by 2 and add the result to the middle equation. That will eliminate the y term again.

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Now you have two equations with the variables x and z. Solve that system.
