any tips for taking anti derivatives?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

There is no such thing as "taking". You must find it or locate it or create it. There are various techniques to find SOME antiderivative. There is NO finite general methodology. There ARE infinite methods, including the fundamental defintion. Get used to it. Do more problems than you are assigned. Study up on your pre-calculus. Get it SHARP!
