OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

. Determine if y is a factor of the term: y - 10x Yes No

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

thanks! :)

Parth (parthkohli):

Can you divide \(y - 10x\) by \(y\)?

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

nope

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It asks if y is a factor of the TERM? That is an odd way to ask that question since that expression has 2 terms. (terms are separated by +, -, or =) The two terms are: y and 10x. If y is a factor of the expression, then there has to be at least one y in each of those 2 terms. Are there?
