Well, I know in Java there is Integer.ParseInt(Whatever);

Then there is whatever.toString();

It's not hard to goto the API and check out the commands yourself. API is an important tool everyone needs to know. Even if it was another language you could have typed C parsing string to double like I did and gotten this.
