Find the value of x if mArc ADC = (4x + 4)° and mAngle ABC= 150°. A. 74 B. 296 C. 300 D. 73.5 (See Attachment!)

OpenStudy (raden):

hint : m<ADC + m<ABC = 180 deg

OpenStudy (raden):

it means : 4x+4+150=180 solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@RadEn I got 6.5.

OpenStudy (raden):

yes, u are right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@RadEn But that's not an option.

OpenStudy (raden):

hmmm,.. i think there is something wrong with ur question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@RadEn That is how it is shown.

OpenStudy (raden):

actually, i always wrong to reading the question.. i though the measure of ADC, but exactly it is the measure or arc ADC. sorry for that, my bad. so, i want to correct it again : The measure of an arc is twice the measure of the inscribed angle. it means, mArc ADC = 2 x 150 or 4x+4 = 2 x 150 4x+4 = 300 4x = 300 - 4 4x = 296 x = 296/4 = 74
