what are the domain and range of the function? f(x) = -3/5x^3

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

All cubic equations have the same domain and range Domain: set of all real numbers (since you can plug in any real number for x to get some real number out) Range: set of all real numbers (because each/every y is an output of some x value, a graph will show you this)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

This is assuming the function is \[\Large f(x) = -\frac{3}{5}x^3\]

thank you :)
