Write an equation of the sine function with amplitude 5, period 3pi , and phase shift –pi.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Normally the sin(x) function has an amplitude of 1. Multiply it by 5 if you want an amplitude of 5. Normally the period of the sin(x) function is 2pi. You want 3pi, multiply the x by 2/3. To shift the phase, add your desired phase shift to x. What is the final result?
