Say I'm trying to find how much pool liner it would take to completely line a pool, it says on my paper to multiply the sides and bottom. Would that mean the height, length, and side? It's the SA of inside the pool and I just want to make sure what I'm doing is correct! :)

you want to cover the surface of the pool; not the waters surface but the pool itself find the area of each portion of the pool and add them up
Okay! That makes much more sense! I always seem to confuse myself and second guess myself on these types of things! Thank you!
depending on the dimensions of the pool that they give you will depend on how complicated it is to determine the areas of each portion :)
