I need help converting fraction into mix numbers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you have something like three-fourths or 3/4, just divide the numerator by the denominator and booom! goes the dynamite....ex.} three-fourths aka. 3/4= 3/4 in calculator and you've got 0.75 ^_^ hope that helped! probably not but just putting in my two cents. 0.0

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Take the numerator and divide by the denominator using long division. When you get a remainder stop. The mixed numeral is the quotient (the result of the division) as the number part, and the remainder over the number you divided by as the fraction part. Make sure the fraction is simplified.
