help guys!!!! What is the difference in the following storms: a tropical depression, a tropical storm, and a hurricane? A. Some are clockwise and some are not. B. They are in different locations on earth. C. Their wind speeds are different. D. They have different origins.

So we have three categories here: 1. Tropical Depression 2. Tropical Storm 3. Hurricane If you take a look at that list, I'll tell you that they're in order, from weakest, to strongest. And the most important measure of each one's strength is its wind speed. For example, the wind speed of a Hurricane is much faster than a tropical storm.
