1. Consider both Hamlin Garland's "The Return of a Private" and Mark Twain's "The Notorious Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" as works of regionalist fiction. In a response of at least two paragraphs, compare and contrast these stories as examples of regionalism. How are they similar? How are they different? Be sure to include specific details and examples from both stories in your response.

Hi, I hope you're not in my class. If you have studied the lesson there should be no reason for you to get this wrong. Also remember there are many helpful resources such as the message boards, livelessons, helpful sheets, and your teacher is only a call or click away. You can even send us your work to check and we'll help you as much as possible. I hope you understand. Thank you.

I was just trying to get a second opinion on my answer, and make sure I wasn't missing any major details. I have already submitted the question anyway. I just wanted to compare answers to get a better understanding.

You signed an honor code that would pledge not to post answers online or give other students answers. This is one of the examples. If you wanted a second opinion you could have sent a message to your teacher asking them to look it over for you before you submit it. They would be more than happy to do that and tell you what needs changing or whats fine.

Ok thank you, I will do that from now on
