All of the religions had human sacrifice dealing with religion or because of religion.  Religion in the lives of the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas was huge!  It was used in sports, parties, gatherings, war, and meal time!  One other important part of their religion was human sacrifice.  This had everything to do with religion because these civilizations believed that in order to please, respect, or honor their gods was by preforming human sacrifice!  Often times they did sacrifices because they feared the gods would harm them by giving them bad crop season,trade, or even kill them.
