how does the muscular system help you play basketball ??
You can stand on your legs, jump and run. You can catch the ball, throw it near or far. Wihout any muscles, tou can't do all this. Furthermore, the musles form the muscular system : when you decide to run, your legs move but your abs are also used. Thanks to that, you can keep your balance. As another example, jumping is a really instable situation. All your muscles are synchronised, thanks to the existence of this muscular system.
can u elaborate a little more ?
@MagaliH
Well, this is a bit subtil. You know yourself that when you walk, you legs are not the only ones to move. Put you hands on your waist, your muscles are moving and contracting. Your shoulders are synchronised with the movement of your legs. Try to walk or run without moving your arms or shoulders : your balance gets soooo bad. In any sportive situation, all the body is in action, not only the main limbs. Because the muscular system is, first of all, a system (and a very complex one), when you move, there is something in your body that moves unless you notice, and makes you keep your balance. Without this systeme, all becomes very dangerous. If we had to think about moving absolutely every muscles we need 1) to make the movement and 2) to keep a apreciable balance, we couldn't count the accident and deaths, especially in sports. My point of view is that sports would not even exist because if the muscular system doesn't work "automatically", play basketball will be almost suicide.
i have put together my lil paragraph. would u mind looking it over for any mistakes ?
Where is your paragraph ? There is no problem for me, I'm glad if I can help you :)
Playing Basketball Sight: To see the players, ball, hoop, ect. Hearing: To hear plays, who's behind you, how to dodge and turn. Touch: To feel the ball, to dribble, catch, and feel the ground beneath our feet as we run. Skeletal System: we need the bones in our finger so we can hold the ball. the bones in our legs so we can run across the court. Integumentary System: Our skin protectcs us from germs and contains our nerves, which detect pain. Our hair keeps us warm, peach fuzz included. Our nails which protect our fingers from injury. Muscular System: When you walk, the muscles in your stomach are moving and contracting. Your shoulders are synchronised with the movement of your legs. For example, try to walk without moving your shoulders or arms. You get majoly off balance.
@MagaliH -_-
