Express the complex number in trigonometric form. 3

OpenStudy (mertsj):

3+0i

OpenStudy (mertsj):

3(cos0 + isin0)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you! @Mertsj can you explain why?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Yes. 3 + 0i is on the x axis so the angle is 0 degrees. The value of r is sqrt(3^2+0^2)=3. And trig form is r(costheta + i sin theta)
