Two bikers are 102 miles apart and begin heading toward each other at the same time. The first biker travels at 19 miles an hour while the second biker travels at 15 mph. How many hours will it take for the two bikers to meet?

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

you can divide 102 miles to (15+19) because you can suppose one of them is moving and other is in origin

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

Yes I found the answer :) 3 hours, right? :)

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

no 102/34=?3

OpenStudy (amoodarya):

102/34=4.25

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):
